The store was clean and nicely organized but I needed assistance at the self check out and watched Devon, the self checkout attendant click away my help notification on her portable device and continue to text on her personal pink iPhone, while I stood there waiting to pay. She spent enough time on her phone I considered walking away from my purchase because I could not go any further without her help, but there was no way to cancel my transaction. There was also two attendants at the customer service desk who stood there chatting about London Drugs shorting their hours and their second remote jobs, customer free, while Devon texted and I continued to wait.

Booked an appointment to have my phone fixed after my camera stopped working spontaneously. Had the ‘technician’ speak AT me for about 2 minutes straight without answering any questions, or hardly glancing at the phone. Not to mention rail on me about how the (non physical) damage is likely my fault and not covered, regardless of the screen protectors, camera protection, and lifeproof case the phone was in. And the advice of this technician, take it home and book another appointment, because this one was so helpful… do not recommend this location or this technician, unless you want to be treated poorly and turned away empty handed. Disappointing.

I ordered a Keyboard online and picked it up at the Tillicum store. When I got home, I opened the bag to find the box had already been opened and the batteries had been used. It seems like they are trying to pass off a returned or display model as new. I emailed Customer Service requesting a discount but they require I waste more of my time and money by coming into the store. So far, they refuse to issue a discount online. The payment was completed online, they should be able to issue me a discount online. I have been coming to London Drugs for over 25 years and I try my best to purchase locally, avoiding the other big-box stores and Amazon. Maybe my loyalty has been misplaced. Update: After several emails I was given a full refund online and told I could keep the keyboard. I am satisfied with the outcome but disappointed that I needed to go through this process.

I've been getting prescriptions filled at the Tillicum location for nearly a decade. Always happy, never an issue until the past year or so. I don't understand how my favourite pharmacy has turned into such a nightmare. I don't want to go elsewhere, but I desperately need an easier and more time efficient experience, so I'm researching better options. My recent experience and thoughts are as follows...in the next several long-winded paragraphs: Prescriptions aren't ready even close to when promised. Prescriptions sent over from the dr.'s office aren't entered into the system until you go in, wait in line for sometimes well over an hour and then sit with the pharmacist for the next 10-20+ minutes while they enter the prescription, which the doctor sent days ago, into the computer. Then, go back to pick up the prescription, stand in line for who knows how long, and find out it's still not filled, even though the pharmacist said come back at X time. Go back the next day, and it's still not filled. As someone who has multiple medical conditions which require multiple medications, this is beyond frustrating. The phones don't get answered. I've tried calling over and over, waiting until the call times out each time. I haven't been able to speak with anyone in the pharmacy since last year. The sit down session with the pharmacist has got to go immediately. It's destroying the pharmacist's time and driving the customers bananas. This is a wildly inappropriate step to add to the process when already short-staffed, it makes no sense. I heard the excuse about some prescriptions getting filled and not being picked up; I'm not buying that adding this step has in any way made the prescription filling process faster or more efficient, my repeated experience has been the exact opposite. The pharmacy area of the store needs to be expanded asap; it's far too small for the number of staff, supplies, equipment, etc. that are currently needed. More staff are a necessity, but the staff who are already working there are overcrowded and can barely move. It looks like chaos and that's not good for the pharmacy staff or customers. The Tillicum and surrounding area population has grown a great deal over the past few years and will be growing quite a lot more over the next 3-5 years (several large housing complexes are being built in the area). The customer base is going to continue to grow; now is the time to catch up with current needs and plan for further growth in the coming years. London Drugs needs to re-focus itself on the primary line of business, which is being a pharmacy. The company needs to dedicate the space, time, and resources to what they are actually in business for. Pharmacies are part of the medical system, not just a business, we all depend on you to be a fully functioning part of that system. If recruitment is challenging, make sure the pay/benefits package offered is competitive with the local market. Enlarge the pharmacy area so it doesn't look like a nightmare to work in to prospective new hires (incorporate the supplements and OTC cold/sinus meds/incontinence products areas into the pharmacy, those products can all be moved.) Consider hiring/retention bonuses, if not already in play. Actively recruit: send a recruiter to college/university campuses as well as external job fairs, hold your own job fair, and advertise like crazy.
